Despite the recent debut of the first family of accelerators computing Llano, AMD is not going so far refuse to update their previous product lines. Plus evidence of this has been the recent emergence in the range of U.S. online retailers two new processors for the platform AM3, namely AMD Athlon II X2 270 and Phenom II X4 850.
Novelties, whose appearance in the retail market was expected back in the previous quarter, manufactured on 45 nm manufacturing standards. Note that the quad Phenom II X4 850 has a clock speed of 3.3GHz, and carries a 2 MB second level cache and integrated memory controller and a third edition DDR2/DDR3 bus Hyper-Transport.
TDP of the chip Phenom II X4 850 is equal to 95 watts. At the same time, the characteristics of dual-core Athlon II X2 270 is the nominal frequency of 3.4 GHz and 2 MB cache second level plus a TDP of 65 watts.
