Toshiba today launched the new Tecra and Portege business notebooks, based on Intel 2nd Generation Core “Sandy Bridge” processors.
The new lineup includes the 14-inch Tecra R840 and 15.6-inch Tecra R850, as well as the 13.3-inch Portege R830.

All three laptops have up to 8GB of RAM, a traditional hard drive or a solid state drive, built-in optical drive, spill resistant isle-style keyboards, and Windows 7 Professional OS.
Pricing for the Tecra R840 and R850 range from $899.00 to $1,479.00 and from $879.00 to $1,399.00, respectively. The Toshiba Portege R830 is priced between $1,049.00 to $1,649.00. The notebooks will be available on April 12 through select Toshiba resellers, e-tailers and directly at toshibadirect.com.
