Fix the Slowness of GMail Now!
August 27th, 2011
GMail has become the go to web/cloud email service for so many. In some ways you can call it Googles flagship product. So, why then is it constantly plagued with a slowness that makes it seem like Google just doesnt care anymore?
It doesnt happen all the time, but when things slow down, I feel like Im back in the days of x286 machines waiting for a program to load off a floppy drive. And of course it only happens when you need to switch between your InBox and Labels or do something quickly. Quite honestly, I find the experience becoming so bad, that Im looking at alternatives.

China dismisses Google accusations on Gmail
March 20th, 2011
– China’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday said that it could not accept accusations from Google Inc that the Chinese government was making it difficult for Gmail users to access the service in the country.
“This is an unacceptable accusation,” ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu told a regular news conference.
Google said any difficulty users in China may have faced in the past few weeks accessing its email service was likely to be the result of government blocks.
